her very HAPPY Dog
We ~ my dog and I, had been
through months of dog training, we were frustrated, misunderstood, and ready
to throw in the towel on all dog training. But, we decided to give it one
last chance.... as a last resort we began obedience classes with Heather and
Doug of Broomeacres German Shepherds. We had heard from our Vet that they
were "the Best".
Our Vet was right.... It was
obvious from the very first class that these wonderful people knew what they
were talking about, so experienced, and ever so knowledgeable, kind, and
patient.
They met with us privately (no
extra fee) before the first class. They listened and addressed our concerns,
within minutes my dog let out sigh of relief and relaxed right into his
first class. We had to basically undo all of our previous dog training but
with Doug and Heather's help it was a breeze. No more strong arming, no more
screaming and punishments, just patience, and understanding. My
dog instantly started to respond to the new methods of training.
In a few short weeks we have
become a team who respect each other and work together in harmony. He is the
left to my right.
We soon found ourselves forgetting
about the broken mess of frustration that had brought us to Doug and Heather
in the first place.

and I made in 8 weeks was amazing. Heather and Doug are experts in the field in
dog training who teach with enthusiasm, caring and compassion. The classes are
hands on, educational and most important...fun!
