Foster Program
May times we have sold a puppy or older dog that we really wanted to keep for our breeding program, but knew we could not give it the amount of time as we want because we were already working with a couple of younger dogs.
We want our breeding dogs in family homes to insure all our dogs get as much special family time as possible.
I hope to have a couple of different ways to do Fostering – co-owning.
One way for instance would be the new fostering family would get a puppy or older dog at no charge but I would be able to breed it when I wanted, with Broomeacres paying for all the breeding related costs.
Another way would be for people who would like to try breeding and raising pups, but cannot afford the cost of a breeding dog, and who want help and guidance with the experience! The new family and Broomeacres would co-own the dog, split the cost of a breeding dog, expenses of breeding, and split the litters.

We now have 3 of our girls in foster homes. We, and the girls, could not be luckier! These families are the best! It is great to see them being so loved and spoiled! Check out the pics below!
Diva
Diva is having a great time in her foster home! She has 3 kids to watch over, a full time job, but we know she can do it!! She is starting her training to be a Search and Rescue dog in her spare time....
Breeze
Breeze is now in a foster home. She loves her 2 new human's and also her 2 K9 pals! Her spot on the bed, snuggling on the sofa watching TV and swimming at Comox Lake are just a few of the things she is now GREAT at!!
